Unfortunately the Pathway 2 Independence Show has been cancelled by show organizers for Oct. 17.

 

Next show is Kirkwood Greentree Festival Sept. 19-20, in Kirkwood, MO and Art Fair @ The Meadows Sept. 26-27, in Lake St. Louis, MO.

 

Kim Foster brings home many ribbons from the Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival:

*1st place ribbon in Watercolor for painting, "Olive Chapel"

*2nd place ribbon in Watercolor for painting "Kirkwood Farmer's Market"

*1st place ribbon for peoples choice award, "Most Popular Marketplace" for the third year in a row

 

Kim Foster was chosen to paint the Riverbend Head Start & Family Services "2009 Circle of Care Award" honoring Ed & Nancy Ryrie with a custom painting of their historic family home. The Award was presented to the Ryrie's on May 21, 2009 for their community service and leadership throughout Madison County, IL.

 

Kim Foster wins 1st Place Ribbon for her painting, "Mother's Lace," in the Watercolor Category at the Missouri Art Education Association's Members Show on March 28, 2009!

"Nature has always been my biggest inspiration."

Kim Foster specializes in custom watercolor painting, particularly of historic homes and of architectural landscapes. Every painting is saturated with details that make each home unique. Just within the past five years, Kim Foster has emerged into a variety of art venues, display work both in solo gallery exhibitions, numerous group shows, and exhibiting at more local art fairs. She is a juried member of "Best of Missouri Hands" in Watercolor.

Kim has been teaching art since 1991 and currently teaches at Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, MO.
