Clients wanted a spring time painting but only had a fall picture. The family's Golden Retriever was added to the front yard.

Painting was commissioned in order to make Christmas Cards printed with a personalized message inside.

Painting was commissioned in order to print announcements. The "My New Home" was added digitally to the announcement cards only and the owner's new address and phone number were printed on the back of the announcements.

Customer wanted to reveal more of the home's architectural details but not remove the trees entirely. Special attention was given to the leaded glass windows on the main floor of the house. Invitation size cards were made from the painting and the history of the home was printed on the back of the note cards.

Kim Foster painted this cabin "plein air" or on sight while in Colorado for her hostess.

Artist researched the plants in this fall garden in order to paint a realistic July blooming scene natural to this home. The large stone statue was included even though it can not be seen in the original photograph.
