Kim Foster brings home ribbons from the 2010 Amish Acres Arts & Crafts Festival:

*2nd place ribbon in Watercolor for painting "Stahly Family Farmt"

*1st place ribbon for peoples choice award, "Most Popular Marketplace" for the fourth year in a row

 

Kim Foster was chosen to paint the Riverbend Head Start & Family Services "2009 Circle of Care Award" honoring Ed & Nancy Ryrie with a custom painting of their historic family home. The Award was presented to the Ryrie's on May 21, 2009 for their community service and leadership throughout Madison County, IL.

"Nature has always been my biggest inspiration."

Kim Foster specializes in custom watercolor painting, particularly of historic homes and of architectural landscapes. Every painting is saturated with details that make each home unique. Just within the past six years, Kim Foster has emerged into a variety of art venues, display work both in solo gallery exhibitions, numerous group shows, and exhibiting at more local art fairs. She is a juried member of "Best of Missouri Hands" in Watercolor.

Kim has been teaching art since 1991 and currently teaches at Kirkwood High School in Kirkwood, MO.
